Asbestos Expert Advisory Panel and Asbestos Stakeholders Reference Panel

The Government will continue to consult with experts and stakeholders through the Department of Education and Training Asbestos Expert Advisory Panel (AEAP) and Department of Education and Training Asbestos Stakeholder Reference Panel to monitor the management of asbestos in Department of Education and Training facilities and to develop and refine information for staff, parents and the community.

The Department of Education and Training Chief Safety Advisor on Asbestos will be responsible through the AEAP for providing expert advice regarding safety issues associated with asbestos incidents and management.

The Department of Education and Training Chief Health Advisor on Asbestos will be responsible through the AEAP for providing expert advice regarding health issues associated with asbestos incidents and management.
