DET Asbestos registers

The asbestos registers in the attached links contain information about known confirmed, presumed or removed asbestos at DET owned facilities.

These registers reflect information contained in the Built Environment Materials Information Register maintained by the Queensland Department of Public Works. The information on this website provides a snapshot at that particular date in time and will be updated quarterly.

Please note that a Work Area Access Permit with a copy of the current asbestos register is to be obtained prior to the commencement of work as per requirements in the:

• FCM-PR-003: Management of Asbestos Containing Materials in DET Facilities
• Asbestos Management Plan for DET Facilities

The School Asbestos Register 44.7M as at 19 September 2011.

The Technical and Further Education (TAFE) Asbestos Register 1.3M as at 19 September 2011.

The Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Asbestos Register 171k as at 19 September 2011.
