Disciplinary consequences

Principals use a range of disciplinary consequences to address inappropriate behaviour. Suspensions, exclusions and cancellations of enrolment are only used as a last resort option for addressing serious behaviour issues. Principals balance individual circumstances and the actions of the student with the needs and rights of school community members.

Students, their parents or another authorised representative of the student are able to make a submission to appeal against long term (11-20 day) suspensions, charge related suspensions, exclusions and cancellations of enrolment. Students who have been permanently excluded can make a periodic review submission.
