Adult Learners' Week (ALW) is celebrated annually from 1 - 8 September and aims to celebrate and promote all forms of adult and lifelong learning highlighting the importance of literacy.
In 2009, ALW has a strong focus on a grants program to encourage community groups to host events and activities designed to promote the benefits of adult and lifelong learning - in the home, at work and in the community.
Grants are now open for nomination and will close on Wednesday 10 June 2009. To apply for a grant, download the guidelines and application form and follow the instructions.
