Creative Generation Young Artists' Awards in Contemporary Music and Dance

In 2012, up to 80 dance and vocal students from state schools in metropolitan, regional and remote Queensland will be selected to receive a Creative Generation Young Artists' Award in Contemporary Music or a Creative Generation Young Artists' Award in Dance. As part of the awards, the selected students are invited to attend the Young Artists' Workshop in Brisbane in April.

Students selected to attend the 2012 Young Artists' Workshop will be presented their award at an official ceremony in July. Students who receive an award in contemporary music and dance will perform as featured artists in Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage 2012 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 July 2012.
