There are a range of student awards in the arts that recognise and celebrate talented students by rewarding them with the opportunity to attend workshops in Brisbane with highly respected artists in a program specific to their art form. The challenging workshops will recognise the breadth of artistic experiences across a wide variety of contexts, genres and styles within each art form.
Students from metropolitan, regional and remote Queensland may be selected to practise, perfect and display their works in a professional manner, aiding them to explore post-schooling career options in the arts.
The five awards are:
Creative Generation Young Artists' Awards in Contemporary Music and Dance
Creative Generation Young Artists' Awards in Drama
Cine Sparks: Film, TV and New Media
Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art
Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Instrumental Music (MOST)
