The Department of Education and Training supports Cine Sparks 
: The Australian Film Festival for Young People.
The 2011 Cine Sparks program took place in October at the Palace Barracks Cinemas, Petrie Terrace and the Griffith Film School, South Bank.
The program offered free interactive masterclasses for senior school students, which provided an insight into the moving image industry. Students learned a range of filmmaking techniques including the process of creating, shooting and editing films.
