Young Artists' Workshop

Each year, students from across Queensland are selected to attend the Creative Generation Young Artists' Workshop (YAW) in Brisbane.

This year a group of 98 drama, dance and vocal students from across Queensland will receive a Creative Generation Young Artists' Award in Dance, Drama or Contemporary Music. They will attend the Young Artists' Workshop in Brisbane during the Easter school holidays from 2 - 5 April.

The YAW is a week of workshops, panel presentations and professional coaching that recognises the breadth of artistic experiences across a wide variety of contexts, genres and styles within each art form. The four-day non-residential program includes practical experiences, theory sessions, repertoire preparation for Creative Generation - State Schools Onstage 2012 and coaching by experienced professionals.
