Every Department of Education, Training and Employment nomination must be endorsed and signed by the relevant Regional Director, Executive Director (Central Office) or TAFE institute Director.
The nomination must then be endorsed and signed by the relevant Associate, Deputy or Assistant Director-General.
It must then be forwarded to Holley Wiles, Corporate Communication and Marketing, Department of Education, Training and Employment, PO Box 15033, City East, 4002, or facsimile (07) 3836 0002.
After the relevant HR checks are completed, all DETE nominations will then be forwarded on to the Director-General for endorsement and signature before being sent to the Public Service Committee for consideration. After this point, no DETE staff will have any interaction with the presented nominations.
After considering the nominations, the Committee recommends a list of proposed recipients to the Premier, who then makes a recommendation to the Governor-General who has the authority to approve the awards.
