DET International Women's Day Award

The annual Department of Education and Training (DET) International Women's Day Award is presented to one departmental staff member who exemplifies a commitment to enhancing achievements and opportunities for women.

Nominations for the 2017 DET International Women's Day award program are now open. The award guidelines Microsoft® Word document717K outline the criteria and nomination process. To enter the awards, please submit the nomination form Microsoft® Word document718K to detiwd@det.qld.gov.au by Friday 10 February 2017.

The DET International Women's Day Award aims to:

DET International Women's Day breakfast

The DET International Women's Day breakfast will be held on Wednesday 8 March 2017 from 8.45am-10.00am at Room ThreeSixty, QUT Gardens Point, Brisbane. The event will host up to 200 departmental employees for a sit down breakfast and will include the presentation of the DET International Women's Day Award.

DET employees are invited to register their interest to attend the breakfast event. Registrations close Friday 24 February. Seats are limited, only a certain amount of registrants will be able to attend, so register now. Attendees will be notified on Monday 27 February 2017.
