Rural And Remote Education Reference Group

Purpose of the Reference Group

To provide assistance, direction and support for initiatives and issues pertaining to rural and remote education

Function of the Reference Group

The Reference Group will:

• Assist in overseeing the development and implementation of the department's rural and remote education strategy
• Provide a forum for communication, information-sharing and reporting on the development and progress of rural and remote education programs and initiatives
• Consider and provide advice and feedback on rural and remote education matters, priorities and strategies within the department's areas of responsibility
• Provide a state-wide perspective on rural and remote education issues and facilitate links with related state and national projects
