A P&C Services Manager, funded by the Department of Education and Training is based at P&Cs Qld. The manager ensures consistent advice is provided to schools and parents and citizens associations (P&Cs) and oversees the development of a set of jointly badged P&Cs Qld and departmental training materials and documents.
School principals continue to ensure their local P&C is operating effectively and complying with relevant P&C legislation and regulations as outlined in Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 Chapter 7 and Education (General Provisions) Regulation 2006 Part 6 .
Regional Offices are responsible for the ongoing support and training of principals to ensure the effective operation of P&Cs. Regions are also responsible for the resolution of parental/community concerns that have not been able to be resolved at the school level. Regional Directors are responsible for determining how they are to deliver these services.
P&Cs Qld has established a HELP section on the P&Cs Qld website with a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, links to Fact Sheets and a contact email address for enquires: firstname.lastname@example.org.
P&Cs Qld is responsible for maintaining information on its website. P&Cs Qld will respond to all incoming enquiries relating to factual questions about P&C operations. Other issues will be redirected to the relevant organisations for advice and support. Local school issues are directed to the relevant Regional Office 469K.
