Who is the speaker?

Dr Roland Simons is a Principal Education Officer within the Performance Monitoring and Reporting Branch, Department of Education, Training and the Arts. Dr Simons has over 10 years experience as a researcher and data analyst at the Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University. Dr Simons also has extensive experience consulting to private and public sector organisations in relation to human resources, culture, and performance data.

What is the Focus of the Session?

This forum will explore the relationship between socioeconomic data, student mobility and student achievement test scores in Queensland state schools, presented in the context of national and international research findings. For further information, please see the attached flyer.
