Who are the speakers?
Dr Roland Simons: Principal Education Officer within the Performance Monitoring and Reporting Branch, DETA. Roland has over 10 years experience as a researcher, statistician, and consultant at universities and private sector organisations.
Ms Margo Bampton: Manager in the Performance Monitoring and Reporting Branch, DETA. Margo has close to 20 years experience working in the area of performance measurement within the Department.
Mr Alistair Dempster: Senior Information Officer within the Performance Monitoring and Reporting Branch, DETA. Alistair has over ten years experience in the areas of data analysis and performance monitoring.
Ms Susan Daniel: Information Officer within the Performance Monitoring and Reporting Branch, DETA. Susan has been with PMRB for one year and has 15 years experience in the fields of IT and Education in the roles of consultant and secondary school teacher of mathematics and IT.

This Forum is presented free-of-charge to participants.
What is the Focus of the Session?
This forum presents analyses that take advantage of the unique student identifier (USI) to explore the relationship between factors such as student attendance / mobility and student achievement. Cross-sectional and longitudinal data for the period 2001 to 2007 are presented. Results for particular groups of interest, such as Indigenous students and rurally located students, are also to be considered.
