The English Key Learning Area Cluster Project is designed to raise professional understandings of functional grammar and its role in the explicit teaching and assessing of the language and literacies of English. Teachers from both primary and secondary schools are involved in critical reflection on the literacy demands of English assessment tasks and the ways in which barriers to student success can be addressed through the explicit teaching of grammar. Project outcomes and resources will be published on the Curriculum Exchange.
