English - Curriculum Support

The Curriculum Branch offers high quality leadership, advice and education services which are responsive, inclusive and practical, and which focus on support for state wide curriculum implementation and provision of professional development and training for teachers and other educators.

Services provided for the English key learning area include:

policy development and advice, monitoring and implementation
leadership in curriculum implementation processes and support for syllabus implementation
advocacy for the provision of adequate resources to support the implementation of systemic teaching and learning priorities
maintenance of professional networks
research, development and evaluation in effective teaching and learning practices
other externally funded activities.
