Standard Operating Procedures

The Approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) listed below have been prepared for use in Queensland schools to assist in the completion of the QSAEC Application Form and covers a range of animal husbandry activities that may occur in a school setting. The list of activities to be undertaken with animals on the school site is not exhaustive but should be applicable to the majority of Queensland schools.

Prior to conducting any animal use activity for teaching or scientific purposes, individual schools will need to complete the QSAEC Application Form for consideration by the Queensland Schools Animal Ethics Committee (QSAEC).

The date on the lower left corner of each document shows when the document was last reviewed.
