P-12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework

The requirements for Queensland state schools in implementing both the Australian Curriculum and the Queensland curriculum from 2013 are specified in the P-12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework Adobe PDF document 572k.

The framework consists of a policy document and supplementary Policy statements. Together, these establish the expectations for Queensland state schools in delivering curriculum to optimise learning for all students from Prep to Year 12.

The P-12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework reflects Education Queensland's agenda for improvement as part of a commitment to providing a world-class education for all students. There have been significant improvements in outcomes for Queensland students. Continued improvement will be achieved through a personal and collective commitment to our core learning priorities, as outlined in United in our pursuit of excellence - Agenda for improvement 2011-2015 Adobe PDF document (DETE employees only) and to the instructional leadership of principals and high-quality teaching.

The P-12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework is a key reference for all state school principals, staff and school communities. It will be updated as more of the Australian Curriculum is implemented and new Education Queensland policies are released.
