This document looks at how we learn and provides advice on teaching so that all students learn, develop in-depth understanding, build knowledge, and learn how to improve their own learning.
This 5-point scale is intended as a focus for discussion in professional communities to assist teachers to reflect on and refine classroom practice. It describes how the four dimensions of productive pedagogies - intellectual quality, connectedness, supportive classroom environment and working with and valuing difference - might look as practice improves.
