The Graduate Diploma in Arts (History Education)

An online course for primary and secondary teachers

Have you ever wanted to tell your students:

If so, the online Graduate Diploma in Arts (History Education), a joint initiative of the University of Melbourne and Monash University, could provide the practical support, skills and information you seek. The Graduate Diploma gives you an ideal opportunity to research historical and contemporary issues and communicate online with colleagues Australiawide, and then pass these skills onto your students.

The Diploma is available to all primary and secondary teachers. Five subjects are available:

Successful completion of two subjects will give you the Graduate Certificate while four subjects gives you the Graduate Diploma and can lead to postgraduate studies in history.

To find out more about this course and how you can work with fellow primary and secondary teachers Australiawide, contact Sue Taffe, School of Historical Studies, Monash University, telephone 03 9905 9150 or email Sue.Taffe@arts.monash.edu.au
