Literate Futures: Reading the Future
This video is planned for release in Term 3, 2002. It is an essential component of the learning and development model as it provides an introduction to recent developments in literacy and reading, and assists staff and schools in identifying the areas in which they might require further professional development.
The program is documentary style and is approximately 20 minutes in length.
Literate Futures: Reading the Future will provide schools with a resource to use in the wider school community, particularly with parents, as they too become involved in 'learning conversations' around literacy and the teaching of reading.
