Guten Appetit: Bildschirm 29 [Videorecording] Three separate TV programs on cooking, from Mainz and Cologne, are presented by cooking buffs and their on-camera guests in a chatty format which includes an interesting language mix of colloquialisms, dialect forms and culinary esoteria, all of which is not quite as forbidding as it sounds, since the companion booklet and the presenter both help with language and general gist. The hands-on demonstrations are also a valuable aid to comprehension. The three programs show how to make "Gefulltes Krauterhuhnchen (24 mins)", "Dampfnudeln (20 mins)" and "Meals from the CD-Rom Cookbook (12 mins, including some useful PC jargon)".
