Stakeholder input

The Office is committed to working in partnership with the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector to ensure that knowledge, experience and a wide range of perspectives inform the Queensland early childhood reform agenda.

The Office is working with key stakeholders to develop and implement Queensland's plan to achieve universal access, as well as contribute to broader early childhood reform initiatives. The key consultative mechanisms include the Early Childhood Education and Care Forum and the Kindergarten Implementation Reference Group.

Early Childhood Education and Care Forum

The ECEC Forum is made up of a range of key stakeholder groups and peak organisations who will advise on kindergarten implementation, as well as contribute to broader early childhood reform initiatives.

The ECEC Forum is held quarterly and has a key focus on providing advice to help address issues that lie ahead including how to:

Meeting outcomes will be posted on the Office's website after each ECEC Forum meeting.
