The White Paper outlines the Government's future policy direction for education and training. The package covers all stages of education from preschool through to middle and senior schooling, as well as vocational education and training, and employment.
The White Paper was produced following five months of consultation, based on the Government's policy Green Paper (new window) 937k
, with parents, young people, teachers, employers, schools, TAFE and community leaders. The package of reforms contains 19 specific recommendations that will be implemented through partnerships between schools, TAFE, young people, parents, employers and local communities.
