Literacy: Reading Recovery Operational and Resource Grants

Purpose

These grants provide funding to Reading Recovery Training Centre base schools to assist with operational costs associated with the management of training centres.

Expenditure Guidelines

Operational costs identified to be met by this grant include administrative assistance in addition to stationery, photocopying, phone/facsimile and incidentals.

In Semester Two of each year, a resource allocation is added to each grant to provide texts for returning teachers.

No provision is made in this grant for the supply of reading texts to schools.
