Outside school hours care (OSHC)

OSHC is a subcommittee and is required to report monthly to the P&C meeting, as are all other subcommittees. This subcommittee must have a separate bank account. OSHC subcommittees are to be self-funding.

Although financially independent, the OSHC subcommittee is still required to comply with this accounting manual and is subject to the direction of the main P&C. The P&C must be the employer of people working in OSHC and is responsible for their PAYG requirements. The office bearers of the OSHC subcommittee are to be appointed by the P&C (as are other subcommittee office bearers) at a P&C general meeting.
