Health and Safety Events
Health and safety events are a great opportunity to promote the importance of health and safety in your workplace, involve people in activities and share knowledge and ideas.
- School Safety Conference 2012 - 10 to 11 September
To Harmonisation and Beyond - Our Future
Location: Tierney Auditorium Nudgee College
The School Safety Conference has been held on an annual basis since its inception in 1996 and is the only event of its type that caters specifically to the education sector, enjoying support from early childhood, State, independent and Catholic schooling sectors. It is organised by the Schooling and Child Care Advisory Group, a working party of the Health & Community Services Industry Sector Standing Committee.
- Safe Work Week 2012 - 21 to 27 October
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has a number of events planned throughout October to remind us all of the importance of creating and maintaining safe and healthy workplaces for all Queenslanders.
Mal Meninga, State of Origin coach and rugby league legend, is continuing his role as Safety Ambassador for 2012. He is personally committed to the importance of zero harm at work and will be heavily involved in events and activities around the state.
