Make a difference. Teach Rural

All Queensland school students, wherever they live and whatever school they attend, need great teachers.

Approximately half of Queensland's state schools are in rural and remote communities, providing teachers with unique and diverse career and lifestyle opportunities.

Teaching in rural, regional and remote locations provides you with the opportunity to work with a broad range of colleagues who are dedicated to ensuring the best learning experiences and outcomes for their students, regardless of their location.

You can explore some of the country's most beautiful landscapes, build life-long friendships and strengthen your career prospects, while giving your students the opportunity to explore their potential.

View the list of schools in their rural or remote classifications, with their transfer rating, or download regional maps of Queensland.
