The libraries, located in Inala, Brisbane, and Mundingburra, Townsville, provide library and information services which meet the needs of Education Queensland officers in support of the Department's goals for continuous improvement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education.
Objectives of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Learning and Engagement Centre Libraries
The scope of the collections includes teaching and general materials relating to culture, history, law, literature, health, employment, art, religion and other social issues.
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Learning and Engagement Centre Libraries are committed to providing you with access to relevant and current information for teaching and researching Aboriginal studies and Torres Strait Islander studies. The library collections comprise of approximately 20 000 resource items in various formats.
The libraries are also committed to providing you with access to electronic information resources through our E-library.
Through the WWW you can access our Online Library Catalogue (new window) from your own desktops.
