Aspley East State School's new Building the Education Revolution (BER) funded resource centre has enabled highly interactive learning for students within a 21st century designed facility.

The multi million dollar resource centre features a fully contained library, interactive white boards and media room.

School Principal Michael Ward said the school was delighted with their new facilities which includes a multi purpose hall, covered outdoor adventure playgrounds as well as minor refurbishments around the school grounds.

Mr Ward said the school could not be more appreciative of the amazing facilities and resources they have received.

"The new facilities have provided the school with some modern buildings that contrast significantly with out mostly older buildings," he said.

"This has a noticeable affect on building community and staff morale regarding confidence in state schooling.

"The new resource centre is designed to enable highly interactive learning which integrates technology usage in pleasant surrounds."

Mr Ward said the resource centre also provided a venue for staff and adult training, reducing the schools workload, by no longer needing to set up training spaces in existing facilities.

The high quality facilities have also been utilised by the local community for functions, events and training.
