Queensland's VET system includes an extensive network of public and privately owned training providers, which deliver training and skilling services to over 300,000 people each year. These providers include the Queensland Government owned TAFE Queensland system, comprising 13 institutes which services from over 80 campuses across the state; the state-run Australian Agricultural Colleges of Queensland (five campuses); and over 1200 registered training organisations. These organisations include privately owned colleges, local governments (councils), community bodies and industry enterprises.

The VET Export Office represents Queensland's VET sector interests as part of the department's international sector. Its role is to support the growth and sustainability of the Queensland VET sector's international engagement.
