Test options
When you have completed creating your assessment item, save it and set the availability.
- Make the link available – Yes or No
Check your assessment item carefully before making it available. Make sure you have previewed your assessment item and ensured there are no errors and have included all questions.
Note:
- If an assessment item is made available, you will not be able to edit the questions.
- To edit an assessment, it has to be made unavailable.
- When an assessment is made unavailable, any grading information for that quiz will be lost.
Some options available for your assessment item include:
- Show detailed result – provides participants with the results for each question and not just a final grade.
- Reveal correct answer – provides participants with the correct answer for each question. (Shown only when Show Detailed Results has been checked)
- Allow multiple attempts – participants can complete the assessment many times. Their result each time will replace the result from previous attempts.
- Set timer – Set expected completion time. Selecting this option also records completion time for this Test
- Force completion – Test must be completed the first time it is launched.
- Set time for quiz – a running clock is used and a warning is provided when the time limit is approaching.
- Password protect – allows only the participants with the specified password to take the assessment.
- Test feedback – Set the feedback mode, including how detailed the feedback should be and what detail to show.
- Test Presentation – Set the presentation mode (such as all at once, one at a time or randomize questions).
