Course tools

The Course Tools area contains tools for managing communication with participants.

The tools allow instructors to:

• Create Announcements
• Construct a Course Calendar
• Add Staff Information
• View participant management of Tasks
• Send e-mail to various groups within the course
• Manage the Discussion Board
• Collaborate with participants using Java-based synchronous Lightweight Chat and Virtual Classroom
• Manage the Digital Drop Box
• Add glossary terms using the Glossary Manager
