Instructors can send e-mail to individuals or groups who are participating in their course from the Send E-mail page. There are several options to choose from – all participants, all groups, teaching assistants only, or a particular group.
This facility can only be used to send e-mail to course participants. It is not a general e-mail facility. You can also add attachments to your messages.
You can send a copy of the message to yourself so as to keep a record. Blackboard® does not keep a record of the e-mails sent via this facility.
