This unit is a highly supported learning environment, designed for entry level secondary students (Level 1) who exhibit significant gaps in their learning. Prepared as part of the Centre Education Programme's online curriculum material, the unit integrates SOSE, literacy, mathematics and science in a highly engaging manner. The three modules (Where and what is Antarctica; All about whales; and Antarctic explorers) can be used by individuals or small groups with the support of a teacher or tutor. |
