Local waterway management

Imagine finding there's so much rubbish and growth in the creek that you don't want to go near it. Imagine the water being so unhealthy you can't stand the smell. How could a waterway become so unhealthy and polluted?

In this activity, students take on roles, gather facts and develop understandings as they try to solve the big question: how should the land beside Rocky Waterholes Creek be managed if the waterway is to kept clean and healthy?
