This year we celebrate 150 years since Queensland became its own state. An important part of celebrating independence is to investigate how the last 150 years has shaped what we are today, but especially to see how Queenslanders have become global citizens. This unit will help students think about global citizenship and how Queensland fits into the world and students will design a project that helps the community.
