Source to sea

Through interaction, students gain an understanding of their local catchment area. In this course, students develop a respect for the environment; learn how parts of the environment interact and how easily it can be destroyed; and discover how they can make a difference by taking local action.

Choosing an issue that both impacts on them and that they can influence in a positive way, students: develop and implement an action research plan; document their actions in a report; and deliver a presentation persuading an audience to act more responsibly towards their catchment.

Source to Sea was developed under the New Basics framework.
