What a waste!

What a waste! is an inquiry that supports students to develop an understanding of consumption and waste management. Through an investigation of the big question – What are we leaving for the future? – students explore their own behaviours and actions, and those of others.  They also learn about the impact of waste and consumption on people and the environment.

A diversity of collaborative online and offline learning experiences provide opportunities for students to examine innovative and sustainable practices, evaluate personal consumption, and make decisions and set goals for future action.

The unit is supported by a comprehensive teacher guide, assessments and guides to making judgments.
