Can students help more wild things to share their school grounds? Even city schools have nooks and crannies that can be transformed into wildlife havens, increasing the number and diversity of wild creatures in the grounds. While developing a plan for their school grounds, students make careful, detailed observations that result in a heightened awareness of, and appreciation for, native wildlife in all its forms.
