Headings

By just typing it is possible to get an average text size on a webpage, but it is possible to change the size of your text. Just like creating a document in Microsoft® Word, you can have headings in different sizes. You can make your headings and subheadings more prominent and also be recognised as headers with their appropriate significance.

The tags H1, H2, … H6 are used with headings. H1 is the most significant and is displayed in large font. H2 to H6 are progressively less significant and displayed in smaller fonts.

Include your heading inside the following heading tags to better structure your headings and subheadings.

<h1>Very big</h1>

<h2>Big</h2>

<h3>Medium</h3>

<h4>Small</h4>

These sizes indicated are not the exact size but just representative of what each heading can look like.
