Menus

It is a web convention to place menus at the top or left of a page. This enables users with small screen resolutions to view the menu without scrolling.

Links

Make links descriptive. Do not use 'click here'. It is preferable to link the name of the person, website or file.

It is a web convention for links to be blue and underlined. This enables users to quickly distinguish links from text.

If you do use a colour other than blue for your links, choose a colour that contrasts with the text and use that colour consistently throughout the course.
