The Curriculum Exchange (CX) will no longer be accessible in the new Learning Place.
The CX user interface is no longer maintained and all staff and students are encouraged to discover digital resources directly through the new Learning Place.

The Learning Place team is postponing end of year clean up activities due to the implementation of single sign on. This means that all of your course/community spaces and registrations will remain unchanged. Clean up activities will be rescheduled in 2011 and the Learning Place will advise once dates are confirmed.

This series of 30 virtual books promotes student interaction in the classroom and is also designed to support use on interactive whiteboards.

The Department of Education and Training's ICT Learning Innovation Centre aims to promote the innovative use of ICT to enhance modern teaching and learning in the classroom.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, the centre delivers more than 250 professional development events and conferences every year to engage teachers, including early phase and senior phase conferences, digital pedagogy master classes and eLearning Explorations. The centre is also leading the way with online digital delivery of professional development via web conferencing.
These events, delivered to all Education Queensland regions, attract more than 12,500 teachers from over 670 schools – with additional guests coming from both national and international destinations for professional development.
The centre is also the department's test environment for research into new and emerging learning technologies including digital and mobile technologies, digital pedagogy, digital content and eLearning spaces.

Respondus and StudyMate 'activation password' for 2010 is now available from the Teaching in Blackboard community.
If you installed Respondus or StudyMate in 2009 you will need the new 'activation password'. The previous password will only work until the end of January.
Next time you are using Respondus and StudyMate you will be prompted for the new password - enter this new activation password for 2010 found within the Product registration and licensing information document, available from the 'Respondus and StudyMate' section in Teaching in Blackboard.
A new version of Respondus is now available. Both new and existing Respondus 3.5 users will need to run the full installer to upgrade to Respondus 4.0.
You do not need to uninstall previous versions of Respondus before installing version 4.0. Also, The file format is unchanged so your existing Respondus 3.5 files will continue to work in version 4.0. Support for version 3.5 will gradually be phased out, therefore we recomment that you upgrade to Respondus 4.0 soon.
