Microsoft Imagine Academy

The Microsoft Imagine Academy offers more than 400 information technology courses for:

  • state high schools students
  • school and departmental staff.

The courses are self-paced, covering a range of topics for people new and experienced in IT.

Novices can learn how to get started with Microsoft software such as Word and PowerPoint.

Tech wizards can find out how to administer Windows servers, develop html apps and much more.

The academy is a joint initiative of Microsoft and the Department of Education.

Providing techology skills to succeed in the digital world

Recognised certifications

Microsoft Certifications are internationally and industry recognised. Qualifiations are attained by passing one of the Microsoft certification exams.

QCE credits

QCE credits

Years 10 to 12 students gain one Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) credit for each certification exam they pass – up to a maximum of 8.
