Education Queensland history bibliography 1824-1981
The Education Queensland history bibliography 1824-1891 is made available for the use of scholars and other interested parties.
- The bibliography was compiled by Eddie Clarke and Greg Logan in the early 1980s. Every effort was made at the time to compile a comprehensive bibliography.
- The database covers the period 1824-1981. There is no plan to extend the scope of the database.
- Library Services will not enter into discussion regarding errors or omissions found by users.
Location advice
- The database offers the opportunity to search by location. Each record includes a location field. The locations were current at the time of compilation (early 1980s). Some of the locations no longer exist; others have changed their names. Users are advised that location is not the most useful search option.
- Library Services cannot advise on current locations or availability for any items listed in the Bibliography.
- Library Services may no longer hold the items identified in the Bibliography as located at the Education Department Library or the Education Department - Education History Unit.
- Please use the bibliography as a reference source rather than a location device.
