1901-1925
1907
- The Creche and Kindergarten Association of Queensland was formed to provide free nursery and kindergarten services, to train kindergarten teachers and to promote interest in early childhood education.
1910
- The Department established a Committee on Infant Schools to advise on departmental policy. The committee remained active until 1913.
1911
- The Creche and Kindergarten Association established The Brisbane Kindergarten Teachers College.
