The school calendar for Queensland state schools
The school calendar is published each year in the Queensland Education Office Gazette.
Library Services holds a print copy of the calendar from 1894. Information relating to current State school vacation and term dates is available on the Education Queensland website and from a recorded phone message on (07) 3237 1180.
In Queensland, the Holidays Act 1983 provides for the appointment of public holidays, show holidays and special holidays. These holidays are gazetted in the Queensland Government Gazette, with current information available on the Department of Industrial Relations website.
