ERIC External Link (free database)
The Educational Resources Information Centre (ERIC) is an online digital library of education research and information that provides access to a comprehensive range of bibliographic records and full-text articles.

PubMed External Link (free database)
An online resource that comprises over 26 million citations and abstracts for biomedical literature that cover: biomedicine and health; behavioural sciences, chemical sciences and bioengineering. Citations may include links to full-text content.

The eBooks Digital Library External Link is available to staff and students from registered schools, and provides access to thousands of eBooks to support learning and encourage a love of reading.

The Source: Australia's subject guide to children’s literature External Link
The Source is a subject guide to children's literature: books, short stories, traditional literature and poetry from around the world with an emphasis on Australian and New Zealand literature.

Virtual books
The department has created a number of virtual books, such as Budburra Books, Charlie Pasta, Fairytale Books, PCAP books, Rosie and Wallace stories, Queensland School Readers that let you 'turn the pages', zoom in on a page and listen to accompanying audio where available.
