In addition to the core selection criteria, the following
points are to be considered when reviewing resources of a
series. The evaluation and review of a series should also
take into consideration the same criteria as the Fiction
and Non-fiction criteria, however the format of the review
is to be structured to acknowledge the complete series.
Fiction
- Structured
Fiction (for example reading schemes)
- Individual
review of one title followed by a short
series statement listing other titles in
the series.
- Non-structured
Fiction (for example Mission top secret
series)
- Individual
review of each title followed by a series
statement.
Non-fiction
- Series of
consistent quality and coherence in
topics (for example A Taste of …)
- Individual review of one title followed
by a series statement and a list of other
available titles in the series
- Series of
non-consistent quality and diverse topics
(for example The World's disasters …)
– Individual review of one title followed
by a short series statement.
