Library Services coordinates review and evaluation services that provide information about teaching and learning resources to schools throughout Queensland. These services help teachers and teacher-librarians to select the best possible teaching and learning resources for students and themselves.
Classroom Resource Reviews (CRR) is a database of resource evaluations freely available to all EQ teachers and other EQ officers. The reviews provide information about an item's applicability to the P-12 curriculum including:

Reviewed resources are assessed against core evaluation criteria. Some types of resources are not included in the review process.
A review rating system is applied. All evaluations are made with classroom usage in mind.
The Source is a guide by subject to children's fiction, poetry and short stories from around the world, with an emphasis on Australian books.
Access to The Source is provided to all Education Queensland schools and officers. You will need to enter the user id and password provided on this page once in each session. Non-EQ users can access The Source via subscription.
Guidelines have been developed by Education Queensland to assist schools to develop a Learning Resources Selection Policy and form a Resource Selection Advisory Group.
